Missions taking it to the world!
Want to help me pack for Rome?

An amazing thing has happened in Italy. For the first time an Evangelical church owns property in the city of Rome! The city government gave 2 acres to Pastor Valerio, a leader among Italian Evangelicals, to build his church. He and I met last May while I was ministering in Padova, near Venice, and put together a plan for another first- the Rome Worship Conference 2008. He is inviting worship leaders from across Italy to come for a week of teaching and outreach. I have sent my writings on worship to be translated, printed and given to these leaders. I'll be accompanied by Randy Stonehill, Mike Pachelli & my band. Together we'll teach, sing and pray with the Italian worship musicians. We'll also do open air concerts in the piazzas to draw folks to Pastor Valerio's church. Our ministry is paying for the translation and printing of the materials. We're also taking instruments and other musical supplies with us to give away to worship musicians who cannot afford to buy equipment.

Would you help me fill up my suitcase with all I need to make this trip a success? I'll take it and give it away if you'll help me pack it! Because of my good relations with many musical companies, I can buy great gear at cheap prices (and I can't give them bad gear!) Below is a list of what your donations can put in the suitcase.

Avalon Guitar (the kind I play in concert) - $400
Keyboard - $500
Bass Guitar - $300
Percussion Kit (collection of instruments) - $100
Guitar Kit (strings, winder, strap, cord, gig bag and direct box) - $150
Keyboard Kit (cord, gig bag and direct box) - $150
Bass Guitar Kit (strings, strap, cord, gig bag and direct box) - $150
Effects Kit (chorus, reverb, delay, distortion, etc.) - $100
Audix microphone (the kind I use) - $100
Translation & Printing - $1,000
What would you like to do for the Church in Italy? Whichever you choose, I want to thank you for packing my suitcase full of great gear for the Italian musicians!

Taking the clan to Scotland!

This July the Kilpatrick family of the Colquhoun clan of the Scots will return to the land of their forebears. For two weeks we'll go from Inverness to Edinburgh singing & preaching. My four sons and one daughter have put together a band that will play in and out of churches in any and every pub, street corner and park that'll have 'em. We've even recorded a CD of them! My daughters-in-law have prepared a children's teaching curriculum and will be ministering to the Scottish children. Of course, the patriarch (that's me!) will be singing and speaking as well.

This will be my third trip to Scotland in two years. I have noticed two things that have given this trip with my family added significance. First, the churches of Scotland are empty. Since the revivals of John Knox, the churches have failed to capture the public's need for spiritual nurture. Many of the churches have been sold and converted into dance clubs and taverns! The other thing I noticed is that the Scottish families are in need of a recentering. Just as in America, divorce and non-commitment are rampant. Children are born into families without love or a sense of a spiritual heritage. Having my family there before them will be a powerful picture of what a family can do when they stand together for God.

Would you like to be an honorary member of the Kilpatrick family of the Colquhoun clan of the Scots and stand with us in touching Scotland for Jesus? We're preparing some resources that you could really help with. As the Scots say, "Mony a mickle maks a muckle!" which means "lots of little things add up to big things." Together we can make a big difference! And for every gift of $50 or more, we'll send you the Kilpatrick Brothers CD as our way of saying "Good on yer, mate!"

20 CDs (to give away) - $100
Children's curriculum pack - $50
Kid pack (CD & books) - $25
Travel (all flights, trains and bus fares) - $2,500
Bob, I want to give for your general expenses in the amount of $____
